Samsung Group Ready To Launch Secret Apple iPhone 8 Killer?

Samsung is rumored to be working on a foldable smartphone device which could be launched before the end of the year
You might have heard or read that the next Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone will incorporate a host of significant updates, as it will celebrate a decade of success of the iPhone lineup. According to the latest rumor, Samsung Electronics. Co. Ltd. (OTCMKTS:SSNLF) could be working on a secret smartphone project which could ultimately assist the Korean-based tech giant better compete with Apple and its highly-anticipated 'tenth-anniversary' iPhone model.

Recently, it was reported that a number of smartphone makers could be working on the first-ever foldable smartphone device. Although there have been numerous leaks and rumors regarding foldable smartphone devices, such technology is yet to make its way in the smartphone market. However, the inevitable arrival of a significantly upgraded iPhone model in 2017 has led to rumors that Samsung is seriously considering launching a foldable Galaxy smartphone device.
Interestingly, Samsung has been linked with foldable smartphone technology long before the company launched its Galaxy Note 7. However, the unfortunate demise of the Galaxy Note 7 added further pressure on the Korean company to innovate and think outside the box. Hence, it is believed that the arrival of a foldable Galaxy smartphone, dubbed as the Galaxy X could allow Samsung to not only redeem its losses incurred due to the discontinuation of the Galaxy Note 7 but such an innovative smartphone could also be used to take down the upcoming iPhone 8.
As of now, not a great deal is known about the Galaxy X, other than the fact that the technology is designed around Samsung’s proprietary hinge support which was reveled through leaked images. Hopefully, the tech giant intends on further shedding light on its future Galaxy smartphones during one of its upcoming events. Comment and let us know if you think a foldable smartphone device would be enough to take down Apple’s iPhone 8.
