In case you had not been reading/watching any news since the past 2 months as you were lost on an island, you must have known by now that iPhone 4G is coming soon! But when is that 'soon' after all and is it 'really' true?
Well, first of all, yes of course that's true. And when is it coming? It's coming in Q3 or Q4 (Quarter 3 or Quarter 4) of 2010. This means that in the latter half of 2010, iPhone 4G would have been launched. Most probably expected date is the June 2010.
Now that I have answered that question, next question that arises is 'What's new with iPhone 4G?' A lot of stuff is going to change with iPhone 4G. For starters, it will have a 5 MP camera instead of an existing 3.2 MP. This news can be confirmed as Apple has already placed an order of 40-50 million cams with the manufacturer who earlier used to supply Apple with 3.2 MP cameras. The screen will be LED lit which will surely make it even better and attractive. iPhone 4G will feature a much faster processor i.e. ARM dual core which would be fastest processor in the mobile phones!
That's not all! This time Apple is also considering 'removable battery' as an option. This news will surely make a lot of people happy who were disappointed by their dead battery! Not only that, this means now ebay and amazon will be flooded with "Original iPhone 4G battery" as well! And of course it will feature a version 4 of the operating system that is expected to have "much" improvement over its ancestor. iPhone 3g/3Gs can also be upgraded to this new version 4.0 but sadly Apple said that 2G wouldn't be able to make it! So that means bye bye to iPhone 2G users (and 1G IF there are any still). On a sad note, iPhone 4G is expected to have Bing as default search engine instead of Google. (Is the new Google Android reason behind this? May be!)
So is waiting for iPhone 4G worth?
Well, if you are not in hurry or something, then I would surely advice you to wait for the iPhone 4G. Because after 5-6 months, the Google Android phone will have had covered a sufficient time in the market to confirm whether it's worth or not as well as iPhone 4G could really be worth the price. If not that, you can at least take advantage of the fall in prices of 3Gs and 3G and deal a dirt cheap deal! So by any logic, at least for now, it seems that if you could postpone your buying then surely do it.
